Fort Campbell, Kentucky is the home of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). The 101st, known as the "Screaming Eagles," is the only air assault divison in the U.S. Army. The division's capabilities allow for rapid deployment to trouble spots around the world within eighteen hours.

In addition to the 101st Division, Fort Campbell is the home to the 5th Special Forces Group and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

The 101st Over 20,000 soldiers along with their families call the Fort Campbell area home.

The Fort Campbell installation includes 105,068 acres in both Kentucky and Tennessee.

Located on the Post is the Donald F. Pratt Memorial Museum. The museum traces the history of the 101st with numerous displays.

Biannually Fort Campbell displays how the division performs during the Week of the Eagles. Included in the demostration is a mock air assault performance.
